Membership Plans UI Work

Via Verde is a leading electronic toll collection service in Portugal, offering seamless mobility solutions for highways, parking, fuel stations, and more. Their platform is widely used by individual drivers and commercial fleets alike, with a focus on convenience, speed, and digital-first services.

Project Overview:
As the lead UI designer for the Membership Plans experience, I was responsible for creating an intuitive, visually cohesive interface that supports users in understanding, comparing, and subscribing to Via Verde’s membership options.

My Role & Contributions:

• UI Strategy & Design:
  Designed the full interface for the Membership Plans journey — from plan overview screens to selection and confirmation flows — ensuring consistency with Via Verde’s brand and digital ecosystem.

• Wireframing & Prototyping:
  Developed both low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes to map out the user flow and iterate quickly with stakeholders. Created interactive prototypes for testing and developer handoff.

• Custom UI Elements:
  Built clean, responsive UI components (e.g., pricing cards, toggles, comparison tables, CTA buttons) tailored to the specific content structure and user needs.

• Usability-Driven Decisions:
  Partnered directly with the client to make key usability and interaction decisions — focusing on accessibility, ease of comparison, mobile optimization, and reducing cognitive load for users selecting plans.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  Worked closely with the product team, developers, and UX peers to align on business goals, technical constraints, and user insights throughout the project lifecycle.

Outcome

The redesigned Membership Plans experience was successfully developed and launched. The final UI went live across Via Verde’s digital platforms, delivering a clearer, more user-friendly way for customers to explore and subscribe to plans. The design has contributed to a more intuitive onboarding experience and aligned seamlessly with the brand’s commitment to modern, efficient mobility services.
